University of Beer (“UoB,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) offers the VIP Club program as a voluntary membership. By purchasing a membership or participating in any VIP Club promotions, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Eligibility
Membership in the VIP Club is open only to individuals 21 years of age or older. By enrolling, you represent that you are at least 21 years old, capable of forming a binding contract, and a resident of the United States. University of Beer may request proof of eligibility before providing any benefits.
General Program Terms
UoB Management reserves the unrestricted right to modify, suspend, replace, or terminate any aspect of the VIP Club program at any time — including during an active membership term — including but not limited to pricing, discounts, rewards, benefits, merchandise, glassware, and participation rules, with or without notice. No refunds, credits, or compensation will be provided for any such changes.
UoB Management reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time, regardless of membership status.
Discounts, benefits, and promotions may not be combined with other specials, coupons, or discounts, including Happy Hour.
Members must present a valid VIP Club ID at each visit to redeem benefits and must comply with staff requests to verify identity. We cannot provide VIP benefits without a valid Club ID through the VIP Club Application.
Rude, abusive, or inappropriate conduct toward staff may result in membership revocation without refund.
Sharing VIP IDs, coupons, or any VIP Club benefits with non-members is strictly prohibited and may result in cancellation of membership without refund.
All sales are final. VIP Club memberships are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable under all circumstances, except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy below.
15% off discounts on craft beer and cocktails are rounded to the nearest $0.25.
Members may cancel their VIP Club membership at any time via their account on theuob.com, within the VIP Club app, or by emailing vipclub@theuob.com. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle the member to a refund, except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy below.
Technology & Availability Disclaimer
UoB is not responsible for technical errors, app outages, system failures, security shutdowns, internet connectivity issues, maintenance interruptions, or lost, late, or misdirected communications that affect VIP Club participation or benefits.
If the VIP app or related systems are unavailable for any reason — including maintenance, security concerns, or connectivity issues — VIP benefits may not be accessible or redeemable during that time. No refunds, credits, extensions, or compensation will be provided. Participation is at your own risk.
Spin-the-Wheel
The VIP Spin-the-Wheel feature is a free, optional perk available once per day through the VIP Club app. No purchase is necessary to spin, and making a purchase does not increase your chances of receiving any offer. Odds vary depending on the reward shown in the app.
Rewards must be redeemed in-store within the time displayed, cannot be combined with any other discounts, specials, or coupons, have no cash value, and may not be transferred, exchanged, or saved for future visits. Only one reward may be redeemed per guest per day.
All rewards, odds, and prize types may be changed, updated, or discontinued at anytime at UoB’s discretion. UoB may suspend or remove the feature at any time. Misuse
— including multiple accounts, automated systems, or attempts to manipulate outcomes
— may result in loss of access to the perk or cancellation of membership.
Termination & Forfeiture
UoB may terminate a membership for violation of these Terms at any time.
If a membership is terminated for cause, all unredeemed benefits are immediately forfeited without compensation.
Refund Policy
VIP Club memberships are generally non-refundable. Once a membership is purchased, no refunds are issued for sign-ups, partial periods, or unused benefits.
Limited Renewal Refund Exception: Following an automatic renewal, a member may request a refund within ten (10) business days of the renewal date provided the member has not used any VIP Club benefits, discounts, rewards, or coupons during the renewed term.
If eligible, the refund will equal 85% of the membership fee, with 15% retained to cover administrative costs, processing fees, refund handling, and account maintenance.
No refunds will be issued after the ten (10) business day window, or if any benefits have been redeemed following renewal.
Privacy
By enrolling in the VIP Club, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Governing Law & Venue
These Terms and the VIP Club program are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the VIP Club shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Placer County, California.
